Dietitians Retreat, Byron Bay 2016
Bringing neuroscience & Mindfulness into relationships with food & body
Do you often go to conferences feeling energised by the learning & networking, but with little down time so you head back to work feeling more tired than you left?
Need some time away, but also want some PD?
Body Positive Australia introduces professional development and networking with a unique twist......
Saturday 12th to Wednesday 16th March 2016
Sangsurya Retreat Centre, Byron Bay
We are excited to bring you a professional development retreat which balances learning, networking and relaxation in a tropical and luxurious location. A cohesive mix of long and shorter workshops with an option to develop or begin a yoga and meditation practice, you will have the rare opportunity to expand your skills with some of Australia’s leading health professionals while kicking back for some well-deserved down time.
Fiona Sutherland (APD) and Sarah Harry (Psychotherapist, Yoga teacher) are experienced facilitators who run groups, workshops and lectures to a diverse range of audiences including professionals, general public and the corporate sector. We know how to blend fun and learning in an experiential way to support & enhance your existing skills while also leaving time for delicious food, socialising and relaxation in a truly stunning, world-class venue.
You can expect plenty of professional development, but without the stuffy formal environment - we will set an agenda but you are also welcome to set your own. There will be workshops held both in the morning and afternoon: we plan to offer a diverse set of topics supporting key themes of the retreat.
Spaces strictly limited
